The Chairman called a Break at 11:57 a.m. and reconvened the meeting at 1:15 p.m. <br />with all members present. <br />Attorney Polackwich announced that the Board would now consider the Advisory <br />Committees created by Resolution. <br />Chairman O'Bryan named the following Advisory Committees being considered for <br />dissolution/sunsetting: Conservation Lands Advisory Committee, Utility Advisory Committee, <br />Public Library Advisory Board, Emergency Services District Advisory Committee, Historic <br />Resources Advisory Committee, Land Acquisition Advisory Committee, Parks and Recreation <br />Committee, and Professional Services Advisory Committee. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Vice Chairman Solari, to <br />sunset the committees created by Resolution. <br />Chairman O'Bryan asked Vice Chairman Solari to hold his motion since Commissioner <br />Davis wanted to discuss this item, and he agreed. <br />Commissioner Davis voiced concerns over consolidating the committees. He was not <br />opposed to sunsetting committees, but was uncertain whether this was the right thing to do at this <br />time. <br />Discussion ensued between the Board and staff regarding consolidating, reorganizing, <br />enlarging, eliminating, and possibly forming new and diverse committees. <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing. <br />20 <br />May 4, 2010 <br />
