Further discussion occurred on the State preemption issue. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and by a 3-2 <br />vote (Commissioners Solari and Davis opposed), the <br />Motion carried. The Board directed the County Attorney <br />to review Volusia County's Ordinance, and to draft a <br />proposed Ordinance regulating shark fishing activities in <br />close proximity to swimming activities in Indian River <br />County. <br />The Chairman called a break at 12:16 p.m. and reconvened the meeting at 12:25 p.m., <br />with all members present. <br />10.
