Attorney Polackwich, responding to concerns about clinics being established prior to <br />adoption of the Ordinance, suggested the Board make a Motion to prohibit issuance of Business <br />Tax receipts for Pain Management Clinics between now and June 8, 2010. <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Wheeler, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Flescher to direct the Tax <br />Collector's office to not issue any Local Business Tax <br />receipts for Pain Management Clinics between now and <br />June 8, 2010. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the <br />Amended Motion carried unanimously. The Board: (1) <br />directed the County Attorney to draft an Emergency <br />Ordinance for a 12 -month moratorium on Pain Clinics, for <br />consideration at the Board of County Commission <br />meeting of June 8, 2010; and (2) directed the Tax <br />Collector's Office to not issue any Local Business Tax <br />receipts for Pain Management Clinics between now and <br />June 8, 2010. <br />14.
