The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board approved <br />canceling the bid to establish Cross Connection Control <br />Data Management Services, to explore the more <br />economical method of data collection, as recommended in <br />the memorandum of May 26, 2010. <br />12.J.2. POSTPONE RECLAIMED WATER RATE INCREASE UNTIL JANUARY 1, 2-01-0 <br />2011 <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Solari, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved <br />Resolution 2010-051, amending Resolution No. 2010- <br />014, which adopted rates, fees and charges for the <br />Department of Utility Services, amending the reclaimed <br />water rate per one thousand (1,000) gallons and creating a <br />onetime dump fee for sludge and septage for recreation <br />vehicles. First by amending the reclaimed water rates — <br />per 1,000 gallons from $0.15 to $0.60 to begin January 1, <br />2011 and to be increased annually for four years beginning <br />on January 1, 2012, by $0.07 per thousand gallons per <br />year. Thereby, creating rates annually of $0.60 per <br />thousand gallons, $0.67 per thousand gallons, $0.74 per <br />thousand gallons, $0.81 per thousand gallons and ending <br />$0.88 per thousand; and, creating a onetime dump fee per <br />recreational vehicle for septage and sludge of $10.00 per <br />dump. <br />Director Olson responded to Chairman O'Bryan's questions pertaining to golf courses <br />and their usage of the reclaimed water. <br />22 <br />June 15, 2010 <br />
