Beach, and that staff is seeking confirmation from the City that the project will not affect the <br />existing lease agreement between the City and the Department of Emergency Services. Director <br />King thereafter conveyed staff's recommendation for Board approval of the lift. <br />Discussion ensued as the Board sought and received information from Sheriff Loar on the <br />various locations of the emergency watercraft. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Flescher, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to approve staffs <br />recommendation. <br />Sheriff Deryl Loar, addressing Commissioner Wheeler's question, divulged that there <br />would be no cost to the taxpayers for the boat lift. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the Motion <br />carried unanimously. The Board approved the request of <br />the Sheriff's Office to add a boat lift for their emergency <br />watercraft at Station 2, contingent upon a favorable <br />response from the City of Vero Beach, as recommended in <br />the memorandum of June 15, 2010. <br />ALL BACKUP DOCUMENTATION, RESOLUTIONS, AND ORDINANCES ARE ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD AND ARE HEREBY MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES <br />2 <br />June 22, 2010/ESD <br />
