There being no other speakers, the Chairman closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Flescher, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Davis, the Board unanimously approved <br />Resolution 2010-048, approving the transmittal of a <br />proposed Indian River County Comprehensive Plan Future <br />Land Use Map Amendment to the State of Florida <br />Department of Community Affairs. <br />1O.A.4. CONSIDER REVENUE DISTRIBUTION FORMULA FOR 6¢ LOCAL OPTION <br />GAS TAX (ADMINISTRATIVE) <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Public Works Director Christopher Mora announced that Chapter 209 of the Indian River <br />County Code requires staff to conduct a Public Hearing every two years to approve a revenue <br />distribution formula for the 6¢ Local Option Gas Tax, which is shared with five municipalities. <br />He explained the current formula for the tax distribution and the percentages calculated. He <br />thereafter addressed questions from the Board. <br />The Chairman opened the Public Hearing.
