authorize clean-up of the property, with the ensuing costs to be recorded as a lien against the <br />property. <br />Discussion ensued, as staff provided further information for the Board members <br />regarding Code Enforcement Board lien procedures, the foreclosure process, and whether the <br />lien would apply to any additional properties owned by the Buchanan's. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wheeler, to approve <br />staff's recommendation. <br />Chairman O'Bryan provided the opportunity for the Buchanan's to speak. No one <br />addressed the Board. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board authorized the <br />County's employees, servants, agents or contractors to <br />enter upon the Buchanan property at 861 46th Avenue at <br />all reasonable times, and take whatever action is necessary <br />to abate the nuisance described in staff's report, with costs <br />of the abatement to be recorded as a lien against the <br />subject property, as recommended in the memorandum of <br />September 1, 2010. <br />12 <br />September 14, 2010 <br />
