_I <br />NOV, 18 1980 Boas 45 PAGE 229 <br />FORMER COMMISSIONER SIEBERT THANKED EVERYONE FOR THE <br />BEAUTIFUL PLAQUE. HE THEN PRESENTED HIS REPLACEMENT, COMMISSIONER <br />BIRD, WITH HIS OLD COUNTY COMMISSIONER LICENSE PLATE, COMMENTING <br />THAT HE, COMMISSIONER BIRD, AND COMMISSIONER FLETCHER ALL WERE <br />MEMBERS OF THE SAME HIGH SCHOOL CLASS. MR. SIEBERT THEN WENT ON <br />TO GIVE THE NEW BOARD MEMBERS THREE BITS OF ADVICE - LISTEN MORE <br />THAN YOU TALK - EARN THE RESPECT OF YOUR FELLOW COMMISSIONERS - AND <br />RETURN THAT RESPECT. HE STATED THAT HE COULD NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT <br />THE RAPPORT THE BOARD HAD WHILE HE SAT ON IT, AND HE SINCERELY <br />WISHED THAT THE NEW BOARD WOULD CONTINUE TO HAVE THE SAME RAPPORT. <br />HE URGED THATTHEY THINK POSITIVE, MOVE FORWARD AND NEVER LOOK BACK. <br />HE THEN PUBLICLY THANKED HIS WIFE AND HIS MOTHER FOR GIVING HIM THE <br />TIME TO SERVE ON THE BOARD. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE CALLED FORMER COMMISSIONER DEESON . <br />FORWARD, COMMENTED ON HIS CONTRIBUTIONS AND EFFORTS IN HIS FOUR <br />YEARS ON THE BOARD, READ ALOUD THE FOLLOWING "OPEN LETTER" FROM THE <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, AND PRESENTED HIM WITH THE PLAQUE. <br />
