Nov x.91990 <br />P R O C L A M A T I O N <br />mo 45 PbcE 253 <br />WHEREAS, recognition of the inherent dignity and equal <br />and inalienable rights of all persons is the foundation of <br />freedom, justice and peace in the world; and <br />WHEREAS, our Nation is built upon this principle; and <br />WHEREAS, December 10, 1980 marks the 32nd anniversary <br />of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United <br />Nations; and <br />WHEREAS, concerned Floridians have celebrated Human <br />Rights Week since 1974 to recognize the rights of all in- <br />dividuals; and <br />WHEREAS, this week will help to preserve, protect and <br />perpetuate the rights of each individual's freedom, dignity <br />and pride; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the week <br />of DECEMBER 7 - 13, 1980 be designated as <br />HUMAN RIGHTS WEEK <br />and urge all citizens to join in protecting the rights and <br />privileges of all individuals. <br />Done in regular session of the Board of County Com- <br />missioners of Indian River County, Florida on the 19th <br />day of November, 1980, <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />By <br />Chairman <br />
