request will be scheduled for consideration by the board of <br />county commissioners in accordance with Florida Statutes <br />Chapter 177.101, which governs plat vacations. <br />(8) Right -of -Way Abandonment Requests. Right -of -Way Abandonment <br />requests are made through the planning division on <br />applications furnished by that department. A filing fee <br />established by the board of county commissioners shall <br />accompany any request. The request shall be reviewed by the <br />technical review committee as scheduled by the planning <br />division. Once the applicant has adequately addressed all <br />TRC comments, the abandonment request will be scheduled for <br />consideration by the board of county commissioners in <br />accordance with the Florida Statutes Chapter 336, which <br />governs right-of-way abandonments. <br />Section 913.08 Required Improvements. <br />(1) Improvements Required in All Subdivisions. Each subdivision <br />shall contain the following improvements designed and <br />constructed to conform to the requirements and specifications <br />in the applicable laws of Indian River County and the State <br />of Florida: <br />(A) Streets; <br />(B) Easements; <br />(C) Utilities systems; <br />(D) Erosion control provisions; <br />(E) Stormwater and floodwater management system according to <br />Chapter 930; <br />(F) Street signs and traffic control markings and signs; <br />(G) Permanent control points; <br />(H) Rights -of -Way; and <br />(I) Tree and vegetation protection; <br />(2) Improvements Required in Some Subdivisions. Each subdivision <br />shall contain the following improvements designed and <br />constructed to conform to the requirements and specifications <br />in the land development regulations of Indian River County <br />and the State of Florida if required in the zoning district <br />or other land development regulations applicable to the <br />subdivision: <br />(A) Bikeways; <br />(B) Sidewalks; <br />314 <br />
