r <br />JAN 141981 <br />Boa. 45 AGE 580 <br />CHAIRMAN LYONS REQUESTED ADDING ITEMS 3, 4, 5 AND 15 LISTED <br />IN THE INFORMATION MATERIAL. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCURLOCK, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED ADDING THE EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />LISTED ABOVE. <br />CLERKS AGENDA <br />DISCUSSION FOLLOWED ABOUT ITEM 6 REGARDING THE DEPUTIES <br />APPOINTED BY SHERIFF JOYCE; ITEM 2 REGARDING THE RADIO EQUIPMENT <br />REQUESTED BY SHERIFF DOBECK; THE REPORT ON THE JAIL; AND THE DEPUTY <br />SHERIFFS BLANKET SURETY BOND, INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR THOMAS <br />ADVISED THAT SHERIFF DOBECK WOULD BE AT THE MEETING SHORTLY, AND <br />THE BOARD DECIDED TO DISCUSS THOSE MATTERS WHEN HE ARRIVED. <br />DISCUSSION ENSUED ABOUT ITEM 4 REGARDING THE RENEWAL OF <br />RESOLUTION 77-114 CONCERNING THE VARIOUS ACCOUNTS FOR WHICH THE <br />CLERK IS RESPONSIBLE. <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR BARTON EXPLAINED THAT WHEN THE CLERK S <br />ACCOUNTS ARE AUDITED, THE AUDITORS WANT ALL OF HER ACCOUNTS TOGETHER. <br />HE ADDED THAT THE PROPOSED RESOLUTION IS A HOUSEKEEPING MATTER WHICH <br />SHOULD BE RENEWED ANNUALLY TO REAFFIRM THE RESOLUTION. IT WAS <br />J <br />DETERMINED THAT IF THIS PROCEDURE WERE NOT APPROPRIATE, THE AUDITORS <br />f <br />WOULD HAVE ADVISED THE CLERK OF THE MATTER, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS COMMENTED ABOUT THE PASSAGE OF A RECENT <br />BILL WHERE COUNTIES HAVE THE RIGHT TO FILE LIENS AGAINST INDIGENT <br />DEFENDANTS, AND IT WOULD BE THE CLERKS RESPONSIBILITY TO FILL OUT <br />THE LIEN FORMS AND SEE THAT THE JUDGE SIGNS THEM, ON BEHALF OF THE <br />COUNTY. <br />CLERK OF THE COURT FREDA WRIGHT STATED THAT SHE UNDERSTOOD <br />THE PROCEDURE, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCURLOCK, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE RENEWAL APPLICATION FOR <br />A PERMIT TO CARRY A CONCEALED FIREARM FOR FRANK L. CLAVELIN. <br />
