Nelson <br />County Administrator <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />SUBJECT: Request for Final Plat approval <br />Bentwood Terrace Subdivision, <br />Approximately 6 Acres Containing <br />9 lots North of Citrus Road East <br />of 43rd Avenue._ Owner: James E. <br />Sabonjohn <br />REFERENCES: <br />On behalf of the owner, the surveyor -of -record, James Fowler, is requesting <br />Final Plat approval of the subject subdivision. The County staff has reviewed <br />the Final Plat in accordance with Preliminary Plat requirements and all discrepancy <br />items have been resolved. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since seeding of easements and swales has not germinated, the owner, at the <br />request of the County Engineer, has posted a $300.00 cash maintenance bond to be <br />held by the County Finance Director until germination is acceptable and approved. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />The County staff recommends approval of the Final Plat for Bentwood Terrace <br />Subdivision and acceptance of the $300.00 cash maintenance bond for seeding <br />germination. <br />No funding considerations are necessary.for this item. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER BIRD, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCURLOCK, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY GRANTED FINAL APPROVAL OF BENTWOOD <br />TERRACE SUBDIVISION AS RECOMMENDED BY THE ADMINISTRATOR. <br />CHANGEORDER <br />CONSTRUCTION PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE KONTOULAS EXPLAINED THAT <br />THE AMOUNT OF $2,662 RELATES TO CHANGES NEEDED TO BRING THE ELEVATOR <br />IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CODE AND THE $3,193 IS FOR INSTALLATION AND <br />LABOR FOR THE JURY BOX RENOVATIONS. { <br />COMMISSIONER FLETCHER ASKED IF THE CABINET SHOP IS GOING TO <br />ABSORB ANY OF THIS COST, AND MR. KONTOULAS STATED THAT THE MILLWORK <br />SHOP WILL NOT ABSORB THIS COST; THIS IS STRICTLY THE CONTRACTORS END <br />OF IT. <br />42 <br />
