all incidental work necessary by all the contractors is completed in a coordinated <br />fashion and to ensure all cleaning methods are completed. <br />T. Allotment (10%): The Bid Item "Allotment" shall not include the cost of providing, <br />furnishing, installing or constructing any part of the proposed work depicted in the <br />plans, or schedule of bid items. The allotment item shall be calculated as a lump <br />sum item, and shall be calculated as 10% of the total (sum) of the price of all other <br />bid items. <br />The Allotment Amount is reserved for payment to CONTRACTOR for unforeseen <br />circumstances or requirements in the work. The payment of all or part of this bid <br />item is entirely at IRCDUS Engineer's discretion. There is no obligation for payment <br />of any portion of the bid item to the CONTRACTOR. <br />PAYMENT <br />Payment will be made at the respective contract unit and/or lump sum price for each <br />item shown in the Agreement, installed and accepted, which price and payment shall <br />constitute full compensation for furnishing all materials and performing all work in <br />connection therewith and incidental thereto. <br />1.05 RESTORATION OF DAMAGED SURFACES, STRUCTURES AND PROPERTY <br />Where pavement, trees, shrubbery, fences, or other property or surface structures not <br />designated as pay items have been damaged, removed, or disturbed by the Contractor, <br />whether deliberately or through failure to carry out the requirements of the Contract <br />Documents, state laws, municipal ordinances, or the specific direction of the Engineer, <br />or through failure to employ usual and reasonable safeguards, such property and <br />surface structures shall be replaced or repaired at the expense of the Contractor to a <br />condition equal to that before work began within a time frame approved by the <br />Engineer. <br />** END OF SECTION ** <br />01025-6 <br />
