ARGUMENT CONTINUED IN THE SAME VEIN REGARDING DENSITIES, <br />THE AMOUNT OF LAND AVAILABLE, WATER, TRAFFIC, ETC., AND COMMISSIONER <br />SCURLOCK STATED THAT HE WOULD VOTE IN FAVOR OF THE PROPOSAL WITH A <br />FIRM COMMITMENT TOWARDS WORKING TO AN OVERALL DENSITY OF 4 UNITS <br />PER ACRE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER BIRD, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE, COMMISSIONER FLETCHER VOTED IN OPPOSITION, THE BOARD ADOPTED <br />ORDINANCE 81-16 GRANTING A REZONING FROM R-1 TO R -2D FOR THE <br />PROPERTY AS ADVERTISED. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 81-16 <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone <br />the hereinafter described property and pursuant thereto held a public <br />hearing in relation thereto, at which parties in interest and citizens <br />were heard; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the Zoning Ordinance o.f Indian River <br />County, Florida, and the accompanying Zoning Map, be amended as follows: <br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the <br />following described property situated in Indian River <br />County, Florida, to -wit: <br />All of that property lying between the Easterly <br />right-of-way of State Road A -1-A on the West; the mean <br />high water line of the Atlantic Ocean on the East; the <br />North line of Government Lot 6, Section 10,. Township <br />31 S, Range 39 E, on the North and the South line of <br />Government Lot 4, Section 23, Township 31 S, Range 39 <br />E on the south <br />Be changed from R-1 Single Family District to R-20 . <br />Multiple Family District. <br />All with the meaning and -intent and as set forth and <br />described in said Zoning Regulations. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect April 20, 1981. <br />APR 15 1991 <br />Only <br />51 <br />
