1.06 PROJECT SURVEY REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Establish a minimum of two permanent bench marks on site, referenced to data <br />established by survey control points. <br />1. Record locations, with horizontal and vertical data, on Project Record <br />Documents. <br />B. Establish lines and levels, locate and lay out, by instrumentation and similar <br />appropriate means: <br />1. Site improvements <br />a. Stakes for grading, fill and topsoil placement. <br />b. Utility slopes and invert elevations. <br />2. Batter boards for structures. <br />3. Building foundation, column locations and door levels. <br />4. Controlling lines and levels required for mechanical and electrical trades. <br />C. From time to time, verify layouts by same methods. <br />D. Establish all lines and grades prior to construction of line work for all force mains, <br />raw water mains and transmission mains at 100 -feet increments and at defined <br />breaks in grade. <br />1.07 RECORDS <br />A. Maintain a complete, accurate log of all control and survey work as it progresses. <br />8. Update the project record drawings on a monthly basis based on the work performed <br />during the month ending at the pay request as a condition for approval of monthly <br />progress payment requests. <br />C.
