SC -2.05 Before Starting Construction <br />SC -2.05.C. Delete paragraph GC 2.05.0 in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its <br />place: <br />C. Evidence of Insurance: CONTRACTOR shall not commence work under this <br />Contract until he has obtained all insurance required under Article 5 and such <br />insurance has been delivered to the OWNER and approved by the OWNER, nor <br />shall the CONTRACTOR allow any Subcontractor to commence work on his <br />subcontract until all similar insurance required of the Subcontractor has been so <br />obtained and approved. All such insurance shall remain in effect until final <br />payment and at all times thereafter when CONTRACTOR may be correcting, <br />removing or replacing defective Work in accordance with Article 13. <br />SC -2.06 Preconstruction Conference <br />SC -2.06 Delete paragraph GC -2.06.A in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its <br />place: <br />A. Immediately after awarding the contract, but before the CONTRACTOR begins <br />work, the Construction Coordination Manager will call a preconstruction <br />conference at a place the ENGINEER designates to establish an understanding <br />among the parties as to the work and to discuss schedules referred to in <br />paragraph 2.05.13, procedures for handling Shop Drawings and other submittals, <br />and maintaining required records. Utility companies and others as appropriate <br />will be requested to attend to discuss and coordinate work. <br />SC -3.06 Coordination of Plans, Specifications, and Special Provisions <br />SC -3.06 Add the following new paragraphs immediately after paragraph GC -3.05: <br />SC -3.06 Coordination of Plans, Specifications, and Special Provisions <br />A. In case of discrepancy, the governing order of the documents shall be as follows: <br />1. Written Interpretations <br />2. Addenda <br />3. Specifications <br />4. Supplementary Conditions to the General Conditions <br />5. General Conditions <br />6. Approved Shop Drawings <br />7. Drawings <br />8. Referenced Standards. <br />B. Written/computed dimensions shall govern over scaled dimensions. <br />SC -4.02 Subsurface and Physical Conditions <br />SC -4.02 Add the following new paragraphs immediately after paragraph GC -4.02.8: <br />C. In the preparation of Drawings and Specifications, ENGINEER or ENGINEER's <br />Consultants relied upon the following reports of explorations and tests of <br />subsurface conditions at the Site: <br />Roadway Soil Survey - Bridge Replacement at Old Dixie Hwy. over the South <br />Relief Canal and Roadway Improvements <br />D. Reports and drawings itemized in SC -4.02.0 are not included with the Bidding <br />Documents.
