The subject addendum was generated from the questions raised by a plan holder. The
questions and the answers are indicated below:
1. Will 2 -inches of Misc Asphalt be required under guard rail?
Response: No.
2. Can you give me the contact persons name & number for the NPDES?
Response: Information with regards to the NOI can be obtained via FDEP's website
(http://www.dep.state.fl.us/water/stormwater/npdes/). If you need any additional
information, call Todd Tardiff (IRC Sr. Stormwater Inspector/Enforcement Coordinator)
at 772-226-1564.
3. The plans show turbidity curtain to be used in the south swale. Swales are currently dry if
during construction they remain dry is it acceptable to use staked silt fence?
Response: IRC would not recommend deviating from the SWPP plan. Turbidity curtains
should be in place in case a rainfall event happens during construction. Also, please
note that there is a separate line item in the itemized bid schedule for turbidity curtain.
4. Other than the NPDES permit are the contractors going to be required to obtain any other
permits?
Response: The contractors may be required to obtain a Consumptive Use Permit (CUP) for
dewatering.
5. The bid item schedule has been revised to include Reflective Pavement Markings
(RPM's) (Item 25A on Itemized Bid Schedule).
Attachments:
Itemized Bid Schedule, Revised March 05, 2010
Page 2 of 3
F.•iPublic WorksI ENGINEERING DIVISION PRDJECTS10946-47TH Street (USI to Terminus Point) I Admiml bid documents) Addendum No. 1 03-05-
10. do c
