In Indian River County, several of the older roadways, <br />including SR 60, US 1, and SR AIA, have experienced carrying capacity deficiencies from the <br />profusion of side friction by vehicles entering and exiting from multiple driveways along each <br />road and from mid -block left turns across travel lanes.
