Comprehensive Plan Economic Development Element <br />Table 5.4 displays the median age of the population of Indian River County and the State of Florida. <br />In 2007, the median age of Indian River County was 48.4, which was 1.2 years older than the 2000 <br />median age of the County. Indian River County's median age measure was also higher than the <br />state's median age measure for all years shown in table 5.4.
