A diagram depicting the declaration process is attached to this <br />document and identified as Figure 8. <br />e. When the County is under a warning or threatened by an <br />impending disaster, emergency workers will be relieved in <br />shifts to prepare their families and property. While no special <br />provisions have been made for the safety and welfare of <br />families of emergency workers, they have been encouraged to <br />develop their own family disaster plan. <br />The Emergency Management Director, or his designee, is <br />responsible for establishing a liaison with the state response <br />and recovery agencies and teams. ESFs will interface with <br />State RIAT and RRTs to assist in the impact assessment and <br />rescue/recovery operations.
