INDIAN RIVER COUNTY JULY 25, 2014 <br />INTERGENERATIONAL RECREATION CENTER 100% CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />1.6 COORDINATION <br />A. Cast -in Anchorage: Coordinate installation of anchorages for shelters. Furnish sleeves, concrete <br />inserts, anchor bolts, and items with integral anchors that are to be embedded in concrete bases. <br />Include setting drawings, templates, and directions for installing anchorages. Deliver such items <br />to Project site in time for installation. <br />1.7 WARRANTY <br />A. Special Warranty: Manufacturer agrees to repair finish or replace shelters that fail in materials <br />or workmanship within specified warranty period. <br />1. Warranty Period: Five years from date of Substantial Completion. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Structural Performance: Shelters shall withstand the following loads and stresses within limits <br />and under conditions indicated according to ASCE/SEI 7 : <br />1. Design Loads: As indicated on Drawings. <br />B. Theirnal Movements: Allow for thermal movements from ambient and surface temperature <br />changes. Base calculations on surface temperatures of materials due to both solar heat gain and <br />nighttime -sky heat loss. <br />1. Temperature Change (Range): 120 deg F (67 deg C), ambient; 180 deg F (100 de <br />material surfaces <br />C. Electrical Components, Devices, and Accessories: Listed and labeled as defined in NFPA 70, by <br />a qualified testing agency, and marked for intended location and application. <br />2.2 MODULAR ALUMINUM SHELTERS <br />A. Fabricate shelters as an integrated set of modular components ready for assembly on Project <br />site. <br />1. Manufacturers: Subject to compliance with requirements, available manufacturers <br />offering products that may be incorporated into the Work include, but are not <br />limited to, the following: <br />a. AustinMohawk and Comnanv, Inc. <br />b. Brasco International, Inc. <br />c. Canada Kiosk. <br />d. Columbia Equipment Company Inc. <br />e. Duo -Gard Industries Inc. <br />f.
