INDIAN RIVER COUNTY JULY 25, 2014 <br />INTERGENERATIONAL RECREATION CENTER 100% CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br />1. Water -Based Finishes: Use finishing methods recommended by finish manufacturer to <br />reduce grain raise and sidebonding effect. <br />2. Game -Line and Marker Paint: Apply game -line and marker paint between final seal coat <br />and first finish coat according to paint manufacturer's written instructions. <br />a. Mask flooring at game lines and markers, and apply paint to produce lines and <br />markers with sharp edges. <br />b. Where game lines cross, break minor game line at intersection; do not overlap <br />lines. <br />c. Apply fmish coats after game -line and marker paint is fully cured. <br />3.4 PROTECTION <br />A. Protect wood athletic flooring during remainder of construction period to allow finish to cure <br />and to ensure that flooring and finish are without damage or deterioration at time of Substantial <br />Completion. <br />1. Do not cover flooring after finishing until finish reaches full cure and not before seven <br />days after applying last finish coat. <br />2. Do not move heavy and sharp objects directly over flooring.
