Standard Threshold: Prefinished, 9/16" thick by 3-5/8" wide by 72" long <br />1. Amber Edge. <br />PART 3 — EXECUTION <br />3.01 EXAMINATION <br />A. Examine substrates for compliance with requirements for installation tolerances, and other <br />conditions affecting performance of flooring. <br />B. Verify substrate is dry, clean and free of loose material, grease, and other contaminates. <br />D. Do not install bamboo flooring if wood substrate exceeds 12% moisture. <br />E. Do no install bamboo flooring if moisture variation between substrate and bamboo exceeds 3%. <br />F. Verify HVAC System is operating and maintaining temperature and humidity conditions in <br />compliance with Manufacturer's Installation Instructions. <br />G. Coordinate with responsible entity to correct unsatisfactory conditions. <br />H. Commencement of work by installer is acceptance of substrate conditions. <br />3.02 PREPARATION <br />A. Humidity: maintain indoor air humidity levels between 30% and 50% for two weeks before <br />installation and continually thereafter. <br />B. Temperature: maintain temperature of materials and installation area between 62 degrees and <br />68 degrees during installation. <br />C. Acclimatization: Open flooring boxes and remove packing minimum 3 days prior to start of <br />installation. <br />D. Grind and fill subfloor using methods and materials appropriate to the subfloor construction to <br />eliminate high spots and depressions exceeding 3/16 inch (5 mm) inch in 10 feet (3048 mm). <br />BAMBOO FLOORING 0962123-5 <br />
