SECTION 00100 - Advertisement for Bids <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />1801 27th Street, Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />Sealed bids will be received by Indian River County until 2:00 PM on Wednesday April 29, <br />2010. Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and address <br />of the bidder on the outside and the words 8th Street Sidewalk Improvements, from 18th Court to <br />Old Dixie Hwy., Project No. 0455, and Bid No. 2010019. Bids should be addressed to <br />Purchasing Division, 1800 27th Street, Bldg. "B", Vero Beach, Florida 32960. All bids will be <br />opened publicly and read aloud at 2:00 PM. All bids received after 2:00 P.M., of the day <br />specified above, will be returned unopened. <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. 0455 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 2010019 <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION. <br />maintained by Indian River County, Florida. <br />All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br />with the plans, specifications, and contract documents pertaining thereto, which may be <br />obtained from the Public Works Department/Engineering Division, 1801 27th Street, Bldg. "A", <br />Vero Beach, Florida, 32960, (772) 226-1283. Copies of the plans and specifications containing <br />the necessary contract documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made payable to <br />Indian River County, in the amount of $100.00 for each set, which represents cost of printing <br />and handling, which is non refundable.. Communications concerning this bid shall be directed <br />to IRC Purchasing Department at 772-226-1416. <br />All bidders shall submit one (1) original and one (1) copy of the Bid Proposal forms provided <br />within the specifications. BID SECURITY must accompany each Bid, and must be in the form <br />of an AIA Document A310 Bid Bond, properly executed by the Bidder and by a qualified surety, <br />or a certified check or a cashier's check, drawn on any bank authorized to do business in the <br />State of Florida. Bid Security must be in the sum of not less than Five Percent (5%) of the total <br />amount of the bid, made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners.
