r BOOK <br />AUG 5 1991 <br />A FACE 46 <br />as are necessary to defray the entire cost of such improvements; <br />provided, however, the only security for such a loan shall be the <br />assignment of the special improvement lien certificates to be <br />issued for special improvements. <br />SECTION XX: Severability. If any one or more of the provi- <br />sions of this ordinance should be held contrary to any express <br />provision of law or 'contrary to the policy of express law, though <br />not expressly prohibited, or against public policy, or shall for <br />any reason whatsoever be held invalid, then such provisions shall <br />be null and void and shall be deemed severable from the remaining <br />provisions of this ordinance and in no way shall affect the validity <br />of all other provisions of this ordinance.. <br />SECTION XXI: Repeal Prior and Conflicting Ordinances. That <br />all sections or parts of sections of the Code of Ordinances of <br />Indian River County, all ordinances or parts of ordinances, and all <br />resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the <br />same are hereby.repealed to the extent of such conflict. <br />SECTION XXII: Effective Date. A certified copy of this <br />ordinance shall be filed in the Office of the Secretary of State by <br />the Secretary to the Board of County Commissioners within ten (10) <br />days after enactment, and this ordinance shall take effect upon <br />receipt of official acknowledgment from that office that said <br />ordinance has been filed. <br />ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, IN OPEN MEETING DULY ASSEMBLED IN THE VERO BEACH <br />CITY HALL, IN THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, FLORIDA, THIS 5th DAY OF <br />August , A.D. 1981. <br />This Ordinance shall take effect August 10, 1981. <br />7 <br />
