INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE No. 74-12 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Southern Standard Gas <br />Code, 1973 Edition, as printed by the Southern Building Code Congress <br />is by reference hereby adopted as the Gas Code of Indian River County, <br />Florida, with the following modifications: <br />1. Bond and License Section 107 is amended to read as follows: <br />" No person shall engage in or work at the installation, <br />extension, alteration of consumer's gas piping or certain <br />gas appliances until such person shall have secured all <br />licenses as required by State and County law. Unless <br />required by State Law, no bond shall be required. " <br />2. Fees Section 113 is amended to read as follows: <br />" Fees for permits required by this Code shall be established <br />by Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida. <br />3. Violations and Penalties Section 114 is amended to read <br />as follows: <br />"Any person that shall fail to comply with or violate any of <br />the provisions of this Code shall be guilty of a misdemeanor <br />in the second degree and upon conviction thereof shall be <br />liable by fine or imprisonment as provided by State Law. " <br />4. Appeals Section 115 is amended by adding the following: <br />"Appeals shall be made to the Board of Adjustment and <br />Appeals as established in the Building Code Ordinance. " <br />5. Effective Date <br />This Ordinance shall -become effective on May 27, 1974. <br />
