INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE No.. 74--13` <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Southern Standard <br />Mechanical Code, 1973 Edition, as adopted and presented by the Southern <br />Building Code Congress as the Mechanical Code of Indian River County, <br />Florida, with -the following modifications: <br />1. Schedule of Permit Fees Section 106. 3 is amended to read: <br />"Mechanical Permit Fees shall be paid before a <br />permit is issued in accordance with a schedule <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />of Indian River County, Florida, by resolution. .1 <br />2. Violations and Penalties Section 109 is amended to read: <br />"Any person, firm or corporation or agent who shall <br />violate a provision of this Ordinance or fail to comply <br />therewith or any provision thereof, or violate a detailed <br />statement or plans submitted and approved thereunder, <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree <br />and upon conviction shall be subject to fine or imprisonment <br />as provided by State Law. " <br />3. Right of Appeal Section 110 is hereby amended to read: <br />"All persons shall have the right to appeal the Mechanical <br />Officials decision to the Board of Adjustment and Appeals <br />as established in the Building Code Ordinance. " <br />4. Effective Date <br />This Ordinance shall become effective on May 27, 1974. <br />
