INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE <br />No. 74- 4 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS - <br />SIGNERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Section 2 <br />of Indian River County Ordinance 71-3 is hereby amended by <br />deleting the definition of Mobile Home, and Mobile Home Subdivision <br />and substituting the following definitions: <br />Section 2. <br />MOBILE HOME: A single family dwelling manufactured upon <br />chassis or undercarriage as an integral part thereof.that may be drawn <br />by a self propelled vehicle and designed for transportation after fabri- <br />cation on public highways on its own wheels or a flat bed or other <br />trailer to the site where it is to be occupied as a dwelling. Upon arrival <br />at the site, mobile homes are complete and ready for occupancy except <br />for minor and incidental unpacking and assembly operations, location <br />on jacks or permanent foundations, connections to utilities and other <br />minor adjustments. This definition does not include modular or pre- <br />fabricated homes. <br />MOBILE HOME SUBDIVISION: Shall mean a subdivision wherein <br />lots are platted, in accordance with the Indian River County Subdivision <br />Regulations, for sale or for lease for a period of one year, for occupancy <br />by a house trailer or mobile home for one family per lot. <br />THIS ORDINANCE shall become effective on April 15, 1974. <br />-27- <br />
