u. <br />AUG 19 1981 soy 47 20 <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE REFERRED TO PAGE 11, PARAGRAPH 5 AND <br />SUGGESTED ADDING AFTER "ROUTE 60" THE FOLLOWING: "IN LIEU OF HAVING <br />IT AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE DEVELOPMENT ON ROUTE 60." <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE REFERRED TO PAGE 11, SECOND LINE FROM <br />BOTTOM, AND SUGGESTED THE WORD "THEY" BE REPLACED BY "THE SOUTH COUNTY <br />FIRE DISTRICT." <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE REFERRED TO PAGE 121 SECOND PARAGRAPH, <br />AND SUGGESTED THE FIRST LINE BE AMENDED TO READ: "LEE NUZIE, CIVIL <br />DEFENSE DIRECTOR, COMMENTED THAT THEIR DISASTER PLAN WAS TO GET ALL <br />RESIDENTS OUT OF THE MOBILE HOME COMMUNITY BY RECOMMENDING THAT THEY <br />LEAVE THE AREA AS THE COUNTY DOES NOT HAVE ADEQUATE SHELTERS FOR ALL <br />PEOPLE." <br />COMMISSIONER BIRD REFERRED TO PAGE 12, LINE 15, AND REQUESTED <br />THAT THE WORD "THEY" BE CHANGED TO READ "CIVIL DEFENSE". <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE REFERRED TO PAGE 13, LINE -25, -AND <br />SUGGESTED THAT THE WORD "WILL" BE CHANGED TO "COULD." HE ALSO SUGGESTED <br />THAT THE LAST TWO SENTENCES OF PARAGRAPH FOUR BE AMENDED TO READ: <br />ft VILLAGE GREEN IS TO PAY THE EQUIVALENT COST OF SIGNALIZATION AT THE <br />ENTRANCE TO THE DEVELOPMENT ON ROUTE 60 IF THE LIGHT IS MOVED TO <br />RANCH ROAD. IN LIEU OF BUILDING A SHELTER ON THE SITE FOR CIVIL <br />DEFENSE PURPOSES, THE COUNTY WILL ACCEPT $50,000 CASH; MONIES TO BE <br />USED IN GENERAL CIVIL DEFENSE NEEDS OF THE COUNTY. FOR FIRE PROTECTION, <br />A ONE-HALF ACRE SITE WILL BE DONATED TO THE FIRE DISTRICT PLUS $25,000 - <br />OR $40,000 IF THE SITE IS NOT USED - ALL MONIES TO TRANSPIRE AT 50% <br />DEVELOPMENT OR WHEN READY TO CONSTRUCT, AND VILLAGE GREEN WILL KEEP <br />THE INTEREST." <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT THE DEVELOPMENT ORDER WILL BE <br />READY ON MONDAY, AUGUST 24, 1981. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER FLETCHER, SECONDED BY COMMIS- <br />SIONER SCURLOCK, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED THE REVISED MINUTES <br />OF THE SPECIAL MEETING OF .JULY 29, 19811 AS AMENDED. <br />
