AUG 1919$] 6bQx 47 pn't281 <br />ATTORNEY HOULIHAN INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAD SUBMITTED <br />THIS PROPOSAL TO RAMPMASTER FOR REVIEW AND WOULD WITHDRAW THE ITEM AT <br />THIS TIME. <br />QUESTION AROSE AS TO THE REASON FOR THE DELAY IN APPROVING <br />BOND COUNSEL'S PROPOSAL, AND ATTORNEY HOULIHAN EXPLAINED THAT THERE WAS <br />NO QUESTION AS TO THE DESIGNATION AND SELECTION OF BOND COUNSEL, BUT <br />RAMPMASTER WANTED TO ANALYZE THE FEE AND HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO PRESENT <br />THEIR OBJECTIONS, IF THEY HAD ANY. <br />DISCUSSION CONTINUED AS TO WHETHER TO CONTINUE THIS ITEM OR <br />TO KEEP THE PROJECT MOVING FORWARD BY APPROVING THE PROPOSAL SUBJECT <br />TO RAMPMASTER'S AGREEMENT. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER BIRD TO ACCEPT THE PROPOSAL <br />AS SUBMITTED BY FREEMAN, RICHARDSON, WATSON & KELLY DATED AUGUST STH <br />SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF RAMPMASTER, INC., AND IF THEIR APPROVAL IS NOT <br />FORTHCOMING, THE MATTER WILL BE RECONSIDERED AT THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING. <br />THE MOTION DIED FOR LACK OF A SECOND. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SCURLOCK, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />BIRD, COMMISSIONER WODTKE BEING ABSENT FROM THE MEETING AND COMMISSIONER <br />FLETCHER VOTING IN OPPOSITION, THE BOARD BY A 3 TO 1 VOTE, APPROVED THE <br />LETTER OF PROPOSAL OF FREEMAN, RICHARDSON, WATSON & KELLY, DATED <br />AUGUST 51 1981, WITHOUT ANY CONDITIONS. <br />SOUTH COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT <br />THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS RECESSED AT 4:50 P.M.
