PRYOR GROVES SAM PRYOR GROVES <br />WITH THE CONCURRENCE OF PELICAN ISLAND GROVES. <br />ATTORNEY COOKSEY THEN WENT INTO GREAT DETAIL ABOUT THE <br />SPECIFIC LANDS DESIGNATED AS AGRICULTURAL BY THE PROPERTY APPRAISER, <br />WHICH ARE ZONED FOR RESIDENTIAL USE IN THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN AND <br />EMPHASIZED THAT HIS CLIENTS ARE THE OWNERS OF THE ONLY LAND <br />DESIGNATED AGRICULTURAL IN THE ENTIRE COUNTY LYING EAST OF THE <br />LINE OF APPROXIMATELY RANGE LINE ROAD IN THE NORTHWEST QUADRANT OF <br />THE BARRIER ISLAND, THEREFORE, HIS CLIENTS RESPECTFULLY REQUEST <br />EQUAL TREATMENT AND ASK THAT THE BOARD GIVE CONSIDERATION TO CHANGING <br />THEIR DESIGNATION FROM AN AGRICULTURAL FUTURE USE TO AN LD DESIGNATION. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ANNOUNCED THAT IT WAS NOW 9:00 P.M. FERNALD, WHO DID NOT ANSWER. <br />MARY .JEAN TODD OF WABASSO WAS CALLED AND DID NOT ANSWER, <br />FRANK MANNINO WAS CALLED AND DELEGATED HIS TIME TO .JOHN AVERELL. <br />JOHN AVERELL INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE OWNS A LOT ON U.S. 1 <br />WHICH IS CURRENTLY ZONED C-lA, AND ACROSS THE STREET FROM HIS 1/2 <br />ACRE LOT IS PROPERTY WHICH IS GOING TO BE INDUSTRIAL, HE CONTINUED <br />THAT WHEN HE TALKED TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT BEFORE <br />PURCHASING THIS PROPERTY, HE WAS ERRONEOUSLY INFORMED THAT THE PLAN <br />WOULD HAVE AN AFFECT ONLY ON DENSITY AND NOT ZONING. HE OBJECTED <br />TO THE CONCEPT OF COMMERCIAL NODES ON U.S. 1, NOTING THAT THE VERY <br />CHARACTERISTICS THAT MAKE THIS PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR COMMERCIAL <br />MAKE IT UNSUITABLE FOR RESIDENTIAL, AND THE EFFECT OF A CHANGE TO <br />RESIDENTIAL ZONING ON THESE SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZE LOTS ON U.S. 1 IS <br />TANTAMOUNT TO CONDEMNATION, <br />CLASS ACTION SUIT. <br />HE TALKED ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF A <br />17 <br />BOOK7 FAGf�� <br />
