INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 77-12 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE 74-13 is hereby amended by the adoption of <br />the Standard Mechanical Code, 1976 Edition, as printed by the <br />Southern Building Code Congress International, Inc., which 1976 <br />Edition is by reference hereby adopted as the Mechanical Code of <br />Indian River County, Florida, with the following modifications: <br />1. Schedule of Permit Fees Section 106.3 is amended to read: <br />"Mechanical Permit Fees shall be paid before a <br />permit is issued in accordance with a schedule <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners <br />of Indian River County, Florida, by Resolution." <br />2. Violations and Penalties Section 109 is amended to read: <br />"Any person, firm or corporation or agent who shall <br />violate a provision of this Ordinance or fail to comply <br />therewith or any provision thereof, or violate a detailed <br />statement or plans submitted and approved thereunder, <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree <br />and upon conviction shall be subject to fine or imprison- <br />ment as provided by State Law." <br />3. Right of Appeal Section 110 is hereby amended to read: <br />"All persons shall have the right to appeal the Mechanical <br />Official's decision to the Board of Adjustment and Appeals <br />as established in the Building Code Ordinance." <br />4. Effective Date This Ordinance shall become effective on <br />the 24th day of Jun.P , 1977. <br />
