ORDINANCL NO. 73- 7 <br />An ordinance assessing an additional $1. 00 as court <br />costs in all criminal convictions in County and Circuit <br />Courts in Indian River County, Florida, pursuant to <br />the provisions of Section 23. 105, Florida Statutes, and <br />providing an effective date. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISS- <br />IONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br />Section 1. Every County and Circuit Court in Indian River <br />County, Florida created by the Constitution of Florida or by Legis- <br />lative Act shall assess $1. 00 in addition to the $1. 00 assessed by <br />Section 23. 103, Florida Statutes, as a court cost against every per- <br />son convicted for violation of a state penal or criminal statute or <br />convicted for violation of a municipal or county ordinance. In <br />addition, $1. 00 from every bond estreature •or "forfeited bail bond <br />related to such penal statutes or penal ordinances shall be deposited <br />in the General Fund of Indian River County for the purpose herein- <br />after provided. However, no such assessment shall be made <br />against any person convicted for violation of any state statute, <br />municipal ordinance or county ordinance relating to the parking <br />of vehicles. All such costs collected by the aforesaid courts shall <br />be deposited in the General Fund of Indian River County to be used <br />for law enforcement education expenditures by said County. <br />Section 2.
