27 Section 3. No person, except law enforcement officers as <br />28 defined in Florida Statute 790.001, shall carry or have in his <br />2 -9 --manual possession in Indian River -County, Flarida—,any-concealed <br />30 fft udi in as above defined without having a license issued by tilt Boal d. <br />31 1Section 4. Standards: Licenses to carry firearms will be <br />32 granted by the Board for a maximum of two years only to persons <br />33 over the age of twenty-one (21) years, of good moral character, who <br />34 have never been convicted of a felony or who having been convicted, <br />35 have had their civil rights restored. <br />36 Section 5. Bond: All applicants for a firearm license shall give <br />37 a bond payable to the Governor of the State in the sum of One Hundred <br />38 Dollars ($100.00) conditioned for the proper and legitimate use of said <br />39 firearms, with sureties to be approved by the Board. <br />40 Section 6. Application: Application for a firearm license shall be <br />41 . made through the Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Indian River Countv <br />42 on forms provided by the Clerk, which form shall include at least the <br />43 name and address of the applicant, the name of the maker of the firearm <br />44 licensedA"e-carrfed,the—caliber-and serial-number--of-the firearm, -and <br />45 the � emen the license is needed. Each application shall be accompanied <br />46 by a written recommendation of approval signed by the Sheriff of Indian <br />47 River County and, in the case of an employee, who requests a firearm <br />48 license because of hisemployment, , a written request for the license <br />49 signed by the employee's employer. <br />50 Section 7. Fees: A fee of $5.00 shall be paid by each applicant <br />51 to the Clerk at'the time of filing of the application. Said fee to be retained <br />52 regardless of whether the application is approved or denied. Said fees <br />53 so collected to become part of the General Fund of the County. <br />54 Section 8.
