FLORIDA, ON WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, <br />19811 AT 8:30 O'CLOCK A.M. PRESENT WERE PATRICK B. LYONS, CHAIRMAN, <br />WILLIAM C. WODTKE, JR., VICE CHAIRMAN; DICK BIRD; ALFRED GROVER <br />FLETCHER; AND DON C. SCURLOCK, JR. ALSO PRESENT WERE dEI L A. NELSON, <br />COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR; L. S. `TOMMY" THOMAS, INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br />COORDINATOR; GEORGE G. COLLINS, JR., ATTORNEY TO THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS; JEFFREY K. BARTON, FINANCE DIRECTOR; DAN FLEISCHMAN, <br />BAILIFF; AND .JANICE CALDWELL AND VIRGINIA HARGREAVES, DEPUTY CLERKS. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS LED THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG, <br />AND REVEREND DELMAS COPELAND, FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, GAVE <br />THE INVOCATION. <br />AGENDA. <br />THE CHAIRMAN ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY ADDITIONS TO THE <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS REQUESTED ADDING AN ITEM REGARDING THE <br />ARTICLE THAT RECENTLY APPEARED IN THE PRESS JOURNAL CONCERNING HIS <br />LAW FIRM. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER BIRD, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />WODTKE, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO ADD THIS EMERGENCY ITEM TO <br />THE AGENDA. <br />FINANCE DIRECTOR BARTON REQUESTED ADDING THE FOLLOWING <br />ITEMS: CODE OF ORDINANCES, STATE REVENUE SHARING CERTIFICATE, BUDGET <br />AMENDMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR, AND BUDGET AMENDMENT #4 RE THE SHERIFF'S <br />DEPARTMENT. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SCURLOCK, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO ADD THESE EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />TO THE AGENDA. <br />47 w�EMO <br />SEP 301981 <br />Lz- - <br />
