STATE OF FLORIDA: -` - <br />INDIAN R1VLR � <br />PHIS IS TO CERTIFY THAT THIS IS <br />TRUE AND CORRECT COPY OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 78-40 <br />HE ORIGINAL ON FILE IN THIS <br />JFFICE. <br />FREDA WRIGHT, CLERK <br />BY `ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP ADOPTED IN INDIAN <br />DATE W.._ -RIVER COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE 71-3 BY THE REZONING OF <br />PROPERTIES DESCRIBED BELOW AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property and pursuant thereto <br />held a public hearing in relation thereto, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; and <br />WHEREAS, there is a need in Indian River County to reduce <br />the number of acres zoned Commercial to prevent excessive <br />traffic congestion, business sprawl,excessive density of <br />commercial development and to reduce the amount of commercially <br />zoned property to a level consistent with the needs and growth <br />pattern of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the economic value of existing agricultural uses <br />shall be maintained; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Indian River <br />County Ordinance 71-3, being the Zoning Ordinance of Indian River <br />County, Florida, and the accompanying Zoning Map be amended as <br />follows: <br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the following <br />described property situated in Indian River County, Florida, to -wit: <br />The South 660' of Section 19, Township 33 S, Range 38 E; <br />The North 660' of Section 30, Township 33 S, Range 38 E; <br />The South 660' of Section 20, Township 33 S, Range 38 E; <br />The North 660' of Section 29, Township 33 S, Range 38 E; <br />The South 660' of Section 21, Township 33 S, Range 38 E; <br />The North 660' of Section 28, Township 33 S, Range 38 E; <br />The South 660' of Section 22, Township 33 S, Range 38 E; <br />The North 660' of Section 27, Township 33 S, Range 38 E; <br />The East 330' of Section 28, Township 33 S, Range 39 E, <br />less the North 660' thereof; <br />The East 330' of Section 33, Township 33 S, Range 39 E. <br />Be changed from C-1 District to A District. <br />
