Discussion continued in this vein, and Commissioner Scurlock <br />pointed out that this was a negotiated agreement and there are some <br />elements of the agreement that are favorable to the City and some to <br />the County. <br />Intergovernmental Coordinator Thomas stated that he would like <br />authorization to call Arch Roberts and Company and tell them to proceed <br />subject to submitting a satisfactory agreement at the next meeting. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Scurlock, seconded by Commissioner <br />Wodtke, Commissioner Fletcher voted in opposition, the Board by a 4 to <br />1 vote, , authorized the Intergovernmental Coordinator to contact Arch <br />Roberts and Company and instruct them to proceed with work on the bond <br />issue for the South Beach water system subject to submitting a <br />satisfactory agreement at the next meeting. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Fletcher, seconded by Commissioner Bird, <br />the Board unanimously authorized the Attorney to notify the involved <br />South Beach property owners of the direction the Board is proceeding <br />and the proposed $3,500 impact fee. <br />PHASE II - GIFFORD AREA SEWAGE IMPROVEMENTS - Change Orders <br />Engineer Robbins reported that this is basically wrapping up all <br />the final quantities because we are currently treating sewage in the <br />Gifford area, and he has a call in to FHA to try to find a date <br />acceptable to them for the dedication ceremony. <br />On Motion by Commissioner Scurlock, seconded by Commissioner Bird, <br />the Board by a 4 to l vote, Commissioner Fletcher voted in opposition, <br />approved Change Order #5 Phase II Gifford Area Sewage Improvements in <br />the amount of $8,350.00 <br />� OCT 7 191 <br />39 <br />ROOK 47 �UF 7-316 <br />
