ORDINANCE'NO. <br />77-14 <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of Indian River County, Flor- <br />ida, did, after public hearing, make its final report recommend- <br />ing changes and additions to the Zoning Ordinance of Indian River <br />. County, Florida; and <br />WHEREAS, this Board did publish its notice of said recommend- <br />- ed.changes and addit'i'ons and did, pursuant thereto, hold a pub- <br />--1ic hearing in relation thereto at'which parties in interest and <br />citizens were heard: Now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of Indian <br />River County, Florida, that the Zoning Ordinance of Indian River <br />County, Florida, and the accompanying Zoning Map, be amended as <br />follows: <br />1. That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the follow- <br />ing property owned by San Pablo Timber Co., Petitioner/Agent <br />Carter Associates, Inc., situated in Indian'River County, Flor- <br />ida, to -wit: <br />A strip of land having a width of 27.58 feet lying in the <br />North Half of SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 30-33-40, India.i <br />River County, Florida, said parcel being more particularly <br />described as beginning at a point 341.66 feet East of the <br />Northwest Corner of SW 1/4 of SE 1/4 of Section 30-33-40; <br />Thence run Southeasterly and parallel to the East right-of- <br />way of U.S. Highway #1 a distance of 709.38 feet to the <br />South line of said North Half of SW 1/4 of SE 1/4; Thence <br />run East along said South line a distance of 29.39 feet; <br />Thence run Northwesterly and parallel to said U.S. Highway <br />#1 a distance of 709.38 feet to said North line of said <br />North half of SW 1/4 of SE 1/4; Thence run West along said <br />North line a distance of 29.39 feet to the point of be- <br />ginning. <br />Be changed from C-1 Commercial District, to R -1A Single <br />Family District. <br />Beginning at the point of intersection of the East line of <br />U.S. Highway No. 1 as now established, and the North line of <br />the North half of SE 1/4 of SW 1/4 of Section 30-33-40, Indian <br />River County; Thence Southeasterly along said East right-of- <br />way line to the South line of the North half of SE 1/4 of <br />SW 1/4 and the North half of SW 1/4 of SE 1/4; Thence East <br />along said South line a distance of 610 feet; Thence North- <br />westerly along a line parallel to and 610 feet Easterly from <br />the East line of said highway to the North line of said North <br />half of SE 1/4 of SW 1/4 and the North half of SW 1/4 of SE 1/4; <br />Thence West along said North line a distance of 610 feet to <br />the point of beginning; Less the South 60 feet of said prop- <br />erty; together with a permanent easement and right-of-way in <br />favor of the purchaser/grantee over and across the said South <br />60 feet excepted above for purposes of ingress, egress and <br />utilities. <br />Presently zoned C-1 Commercial District; to remain C-1. <br />All within the meaning and intent and as set forth and describ- <br />ed in said Zoning Regulation. <br />This Ordinance shall become effective on June 24, 1977. <br />
