ORDINANCE NO. 77-33 <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SHERIFF'S FEES FOR <br />SERVICE OF SUMMONS, SUBPOENAS, AND EXECUTIONS; <br />PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF DISCRETIONARY SHERIFF'S <br />SURFEES AUTHORIZED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF CIHAPTER <br />77-234, LAWS OF FLORIDA, 1977 <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY,.. <br />'FLORIDA <br />Section 1. The Sheriff in Indian River County shall charge <br />a discretionary surfee for the services listed in paragraphs <br />• ___(a), (b) , (c) and (d) of 530.231, Florida Statutes, in addition <br />to the amount permitted under 530.231, Florida Statutes, according <br />to the following schedule: <br />(a) All summons or writs except subpoenas and executions: <br />$4.50 for each person or respondent to be served. <br />(b) All writs except executions requiring a levy or seizure <br />of property: $2.00 in addition to the extra $4.50 <br />surfee as stated in paragraph (a). <br />(0) <br />(d) <br />Witness subpoenas <br />Executions: (1) <br />writ of execution, <br />involved; <br />$2.00 for each witness to be served. <br />$2.00 for docketing and indexing each <br />regardless of the number of persons <br />(2) $5.00 for each levy; (3) $1.00 for <br />advertisement of sale under process; (4) $3.00 for <br />sale under process; (5) $3.00 for deed or bill of <br />'Section 2. All of the discretionary surfees authorized <br />this Ordinance shall be'subject to the provisions of Chapter <br />Laws of Florida. <br />Section 3.
