INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE 74- 18 <br />An Ordinance to be entitled "An Ordinance providing travel <br />pay and expenses for authorized, appointed, non -county <br />employees who represent the Board of County Commissioners <br />on county business outside Indian River County and providing <br />an effective date." <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br />SECTION 1. Definitions <br />a. Authorized person - A person other than a public <br />officer or county employee who is authorized by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, to <br />incur travel expenses in the performance of official county <br />duties. <br />b. Expenses authorized and amounts - The type and <br />amount of travel expenses, per diem, subsistence allowance <br />and other expenses authorized shall be as allowed in Florida <br />Statute 112. 061 Laws of 1973 and any amendments thereto. <br />SECTION 2. Any authorized person appointed by the Board <br />of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, <br />to represent the county on any official county business outside <br />Indian River County shall be entitled to receive travel pay and <br />expenses in accordance with Section 1 herein. <br />SECTION 3. <br />This ordinance shall become effective on November 1, <br />1974. <br />
