This element establishes special types and densities <br />of housing which may be accommodated within a node acting as <br />a buffer and providing for transition from one use to <br />another adjacent district. <br />The nodal area policieE establish the maximum limits of <br />development expansion for every node. All nodes shall be <br />recognized as being within two types: <br />1) unspecified (neighborhood) <br />2) specified (all others) <br />SPECIAL POLICIES REGULATING NODAL AREAS <br />1) Neighborhood nodes shall be a minimum of two (2) <br />acres <br />and shall not exceed eight (8) acres. <br />2) Neighborhood nodes are not designated on the map, <br />but are established through the Zoning Code. <br />Neighborhood nodes shall be permitted to develop on <br />a basis of service needs. An applicant shall <br />provide information regarding the immediate market <br />before a neighborhood node may be established <br />through the Zoning Code. <br />3) Neighborhood nodes shall be limited to providing <br />public convenience businesses and professional <br />offices as defined in the Zoning Code. <br />4) Specified nodes may include: <br />a) neighborhood commercial centers not to exceed <br />eight (8) acres per center; <br />b) high%•ray cor.,morcial centers not to exceed three <br />hundred (300) feet in depth along any roa&.ay. <br />1( <br />
