Wednesday, November 18, 1931 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the City Hall Council Chambers, <br />1053 20th Place, Vero Beach, Florida, on Wednesday, November 18, <br />1981, at 8:30 o'clock A.M. Present were William C. Wodtke, Jr., <br />Vice Chairman; Dick Bird;and Don C. Scurlock, Jr.; Alfred Grover <br />Fletcher was expected to arrive shortly as he was experiencing <br />car trouble. Patrick B. Lyons, Chairman, was out of town. Also <br />present were Neil A. Nelson, County Administrator; L. S. "Tommy" <br />Thomas, Intergovernmental- Coordinator; George G. Collins, Jr., <br />Attorney to the Board of County Commissioners; Jeffrey K. -Barton, <br />Finance Director; Dan Fleischman, Bailiff; and Janice Caldwell <br />and Virginia Hargreaves, Deputy Clerks. <br />Vice Chairman Wodtke called the meeting to order. <br />Commissioner Bird led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag, <br />and Reverend Fred McClellan, First Presbyterian Church, gave the <br />invocation. <br />Vice Chairman Wodtke deferred the addition to the agenda <br />and approval of the Minutes until Commissioner Fletcher was present. <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />On Motion by Commissioner Scurlock, seconded by Commis- <br />sioner Bird, Commissioner Fletcher being temporarily absent, the <br />Board approved the Budget Amendment for Unemployment Compensation, <br />as follows: <br />NOV 181981 <br />600K 43 PA.�7 132 <br />
