SECTION 1 <br />A new Section 3(A), entitled "Establishment of Districts and Official Zoning <br />Atlas", is hereby adopted and shall read as follows: <br />SECTION 3(A). ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS AND OFFICIAL ZONING ATLAS <br />A. ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICTS. <br />In order to classify, regulate and restrict the use of land, water, build- <br />ings, and structures; to regulate and restrict the height and bulk of <br />buildings;to regulate the area of yards and other open spaces about build- <br />ings; to regulate the intensity of land use, the unincorporated area of <br />Indian River County, Florida, is divided into districts as follows: <br />1. Agricultural Districts. <br />a. A-1: Agricultural <br />2. Rural Transition Area Districts. <br />a. RFD: Rural Fringe Development <br />b. RS -1: Single Family <br />3. Residential Districts. <br />a. RS -3 and RS -6: Single Family <br />b. RT -6: Two Family <br />c. RM -3, RM -4 and RM -6: Multiple Family <br />d. RM -8, RM -10 and RM -14: Multiple Family <br />e. RMH-6 and RMH-8: Mobile Home Residences <br />4. Commercial Districts. <br />a. B-1: Planned Business <br />b. C -IA: Restricted Commercial <br />c. C-1: Commercial <br />d. C-2: Heavy Commercial <br />e. CRVP: Commercial Recreational Vehicle Park <br />f. MED: Medical District <br />5. Industrial Districts. <br />a. LM -1: Light Manufacturing <br />b. M-1: Restricted Industrial <br />6. Special Purpose Districts. <br />a. MP: Marine Park <br />B. OFFICIAL ZONING ATLAS. <br />Establishment of Official Zoning Atlas. The boundaries of such <br />districts are hereby fixed and established as shown in the accompany- <br />ing Zoning Atlas, consisting of Sectional maps which are identified by <br />sheet number and an index map. This Zoning Atlas is on file in the <br />office of the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida. Each sectional map and the index map are hereby adopted and <br />made a part of this ordinance as if the matters and information set <br />forth by said maps were fully described herein. <br />2. Inter retation of District Boundaries. The boundaries of the various <br />districts as shown in the Zoning Atlas and the sectional map sheets <br />shall be determined by the boundaries as shown and outlined thereon <br />and when not clearly so determined, by use of the scale shown on said <br />maps unless actual dimensions are noted. Scale and field measurements <br />and map dimensions shall be figured from the center line of streets, <br />highways, alleys and railroad rights-of-way or public waters, as the <br />case may be. Where uncertainty exists as to the exact location of <br />said boundaries, the following rule shall apply: <br />-1- <br />
