SECTION 11 <br />A new Section 20(A).2, entitled "CRVP: Commercial Recreational Vehicle Park <br />District", is hereby created to read as follows: <br />SECTION 20.2. CRVP: COMMERCIAL RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARK DISTRICT <br />A. PURPOSE AND INTENT. <br />The CRVP Commercial Recreational Vehicle Park District is established to <br />implement the Indian River County Comprehensive Plan policies for allocat- <br />ing commercial land uses. CRVP districts shall only be established within <br />designated commercial corridors and nodes or within MXD areas. The purpose <br />of the CRVP district is to provide areas where transient mobile homes, <br />travel trailers, truck campers, pickup coaches, motor homes, and similar <br />vehicles used for temporary habitation during travel, vacation and recre- <br />ation purposes can be accommodated for short periods of time. The CRVP <br />district is intended to accommodate recreational vehicles up to a density <br />of fourteen (14) spaces per gross acre. <br />B. PERMITTED USE. <br />In the CRVP Commercial Recreational Vehicle Park District no building or <br />structure shall be erected, altered or used, except for one or more of the <br />following. Site plan review shall be required for all uses, pursuant to <br />the provisions of Section 23. <br />1. Residential Uses. <br />- Mobile Homes <br />2. Community Service Uses. <br />- Emergency Services <br />3. Recreational Uses. <br />- Country Clubs <br />- Golf Courses <br />- Parks and Playgrounds Open to the Public <br />- Tennis Facilities <br />4. Commercial Uses. <br />- Recreational Vehicle Parks <br />C. USES REQUIRING ADMINISTRATIVE PERMITS. <br />The following uses shall be permitted in the CRVP, Commercial Recreational <br />Vehicle Park District, subject to the specific use criteria established in <br />Section 25.1, "Regulations for Specific Land Uses" and review procedures <br />established in Section 25.2 "Review of Uses Requiring Administrative <br />Permits". <br />I. Institutional Uses. (Section 25.1(C)) <br />- Places of Worship <br />D. SPECIAL EXCEPTION USES. <br />The following uses may be permitted within the CRVP Commercial Recreational <br />Vehicle Park District subject to the specific use criteria established in <br />Section 25.1, "Regulations for Specific Land Uses" and review procedures estab- <br />lished in Section 25.3 "Regulation of Special Exception Uses". <br />1. Community Service Uses. (Section 25.1(D)) <br />- Governmental Administration Buildings <br />2. Utility Uses. (Section 25.1(I)) <br />-35- <br />
