-- Minimum Sleeping Areas. A minimum of eighty (80) <br />square feet s ah 11 be provided in each sleeping space <br />for single occupancy. A minimum of sixty (60) square <br />feet of sleeping space shall be provided for each bed <br />in a sleeping space for multiple occupancy. <br />-- Bathroom Facilities. A full bathroom with toilet, sink <br />and tub or shower shall be provided for each five (5) <br />residents. An additional toilet and sink shall be <br />provided for each additional group of four (4) persons <br />or less. <br />V. To avoid an undue concentration of group care facilities in <br />one area, all such facilities shall be located at least <br />1,200 feet apart, measured from property line to property <br />line. <br />vi. If located in a single family area, the home shall have the <br />appearance of a single family home. Structural alterations <br />shall be of such a nature as to preserve the residential <br />character of the building. <br />viii.The facility shall satisfy all applicable off-street parking <br />requirements of Section 24. The facility shall meet or <br />exceed all open space requirements for the respective zoning <br />district. <br />vii. The maximum capacity of such facilities shall not exceed the <br />applicable number permitted by the Department of Health and <br />Rehabilitative Services. <br />3. Places of Worship. (Administrative Permit and Special Exception) <br />a. Districts Requiring Administrative Permit: Places of worship <br />shall be allowed in the RM -8, RM -10 and RM -14 districts upon approval <br />for an administrative permit as provided in Section 25.2 and after <br />meeting the requirements defined below. <br />b. Districts Requiring Special Exception: Places of worship may be <br />allowed in the R5-1, RS -3, RS -6, RT -6, RM -3, RM -4, RM -6, RMH-6 and <br />RMH-8 districts upon approval as a special exception as provided in <br />Section 25.3 and after meeting the requirements defined below. <br />C. Additional Information Requirements: The site plan shall denote <br />the location of all existing structures, parking facilities, and the <br />circulation plan for all adjacent sites, pursuant to the requirements <br />of Section 23. <br />d. Criteria for Places of Worship: <br />i. No building or structure shall be located closer than thirty <br />(30) feet to any property line abutting a residential use or <br />district. <br />ii. Access shall be from a major thoroughfare or as otherwise <br />approved by the County Engineer. <br />iii. Any accessory residential use or school upon the premises <br />shall provide such additional lot area as required for such <br />use by this Section and shall further be subject to all <br />conditions set forth by the reviewing body. Accessory <br />residential uses may include convents, monasteries, <br />rectories or parsonages. <br />iv. Provisions shall be made to mitigate excessive noise when <br />the facility is located within or adjacent to a residential <br />district. <br />4. Total Care Facilities. (Special Exception) <br />a. Districts Requiring Special Exception: Total care facilities may <br />be allowed in the RM -8, RM -10 and RM -14 districts upon approval as a <br />-48- <br />
