ORDINANCE NO. 89 - <br />Department shall_ (I)_obtain the elevation (in _relation to <br />mean sea level) of the lowest floor (including basement)_of <br />all new and _substantially improved_ structures,_ and (ii) <br />obtain, if the structure has been _ flood -proofed __in <br />accordance with subsection (c)(3)(ii) of this section, the <br />elevation (in relation to mean sea level) to which the <br />structure _was _flood-proofed,_and (iii) maintain a_record_of <br />al—such rnformat'ror with—t-he--Communrty Deve-lopment <br />Director. <br />(10) The Public Works Department shall notify <br />adjacent communities and the State Coordinating Office prior <br />to any alteration and relocation of a water course in <br />riverine situations, and submit copies_ of such notifications <br />to the Administrator of the Federal Insurance <br />Administration. <br />(11) The Public Works Department shall assure <br />that the flood -carrying_ capacity _ within _the -altered -or <br />relocated_ portion_ of any watercourse_ is maintained_ <br />(12) _ The _Community_ Development Department shall <br />require_ that all manufactured_ homes to_be_placed within Zone <br />-K-on the F1 RM shatrbe instal --ed us-ingofethods_ arid-pr act fce-s <br />which minimize flood damage____ For purposesof Ythis <br />requirement, manufactured homes must be elevated and <br />anchored to resist flotation, collapse, or lateral movement. <br />Methods_ of anchor-inc may include, but are not to_be_limited <br />to, use of over -the -top or framet i es _to_ ground _anchors_ <br />This requirement _is__in addition _toapplicable State and <br />other local anchoring requirements _for resisting wind <br />forces. <br />(c) Zones Al -30, AE, A, AH, and AO zone <br />requirements. <br />(1) AIIdevelopment _ within zones --designated <br />Al -30, AE, A.
