i L <br />ORDINANCE NO. 85-23 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING §4}-3, <br />DEFINITIONS, OF THE CODE OF LAWS & ORDINANCES OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA (ORGINIALLY ENACTED AS <br />ORDINANCE 82-7 §2(J); PERTAINING TO CABLE TELEVISION; <br />AMENDING THE DEFINITION OF GROSS REVENUES TO PROVIDE FOR <br />INCLUSION OF GROSS RECEIPTS DERIVED FROM PREMIUM OR <br />ADDITIONAL PAY CHANNELS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that; <br />SECTION I. <br />The definition for "Gross Revenues"; as enacted in §41-3, <br />Definitions, of the Indian River County Code of Laws and <br />Ordinances is hereby amended to read; <br />"Gross Revenues" shall mean annual gross revenues derived <br />from operation of the cable system including, but not limited to, <br />subscriber revenue derived from supplying premium or additional <br />pay channel subscription service; supplying basic subscription <br />cable television service; fees for regular and premium cable <br />television benefits including installation fees, disconnect and <br />reconnect fees; and all revenue derived from the rental, and/or <br />installation of subscriber premises equipment. <br />SECTION -II_ <br />Effective Date - The provisions of this ordinance shall <br />become effective upon receipt from the Florida Secretary of State <br />of official acknowledgment that this ordinance has been filed with <br />the Department of State. <br />Codification - Approved and adopted by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, on this--13thday <br />of March ...... 1985. <br />ATTESTED: <br />By ------- <br />Freda Wright, lerk <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDI IVER COUNTY <br />By --- <br />Patrick B.
