Motion was made by Commissioner Scurlock, seconded by <br />Commissioner Wodtke, that the Board accept an irrevocable letter <br />of credit, acceptable to the comptroller's regulations, with the <br />understanding that it will be converted to cash at the proper time, <br />grant up to loo average annual interest, and move deadline date <br />to January 15, 1982. <br />Commissioner Fletcher stated that he would not vote for this <br />Motion as he could not see how they were going to take water from the <br />mainland. <br />Discussion followed, and it was determined that the <br />prospective customers should be informed of the Board action, and <br />the status of the program will be reported to the Board at a later <br />date. <br />Hep Walker, St..Christopher Beach, discussed the agreement <br />the County has with the City and pointed out that they do have until <br />February 20th to meet the agreement in case they get in a bind with <br />a shortfall. <br />Administrator Nelson stated that John Little had correspond- <br />ed with him that the City Council has confirmed the October 20th date <br />on the agreement between the City and the County. <br />The Chairman called for the question.
