INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ORDINANCE NO. 84-90 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY CODE OF LAWS AND ORDINANCES SECTION 16, <br />ARTICLE II; REPEALING SECTION 16-22, FLORIDA MOBILE <br />HOME LANDLORD AND TENANT ACT; CREATING SFCTION 16-22, <br />THE FLORIDA MOBILE HOME ACT; INCORPORATION IN CODE; <br />SEVERABILITY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Legislature, in the 1984 Session, <br />has substantially revised the Florida Statutes relating to the <br />rights of mobile home owners and mobile home park owners, and <br />WHEREAS, such statutory revisions have rendered Indian <br />River County Code of Laws and Ordinances 516-22 obsolete. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that: <br />SECTION 1 <br />Indian River County Code of Laws and Ordinances §16-22, <br />the Florida Mobile Home Landlord and Tenant Act, is hereby <br />repealed in its entirety. <br />SECTION 2 <br />Indian River County Code of Laws and Ordinances §16-22 <br />is hereby created to read as follows: <br />Florida Mobile Home Act <br />"The Florida Mobile Home Act," Florida Statutes Chapter <br />720, is hereby recognized as being the current legislation <br />providing statutory rights of mobile home owners and mobile home <br />park owners. <br />SECTION 3 <br />INCORPORATION IN CODE <br />This ordinance shall be incorporated into the Code of <br />Laws and Ordinances of Indian River County and the word "ordi- <br />nance" may be changed to "section," "article," or other approp- <br />riate word and the sections of this ordinance may be renumbered or <br />relettered to accomplish such purposes. <br />SECTION 4 <br />SEVERABILITY <br />If any section, or if any sentence, paragraph, phrase, <br />or word of this ordinance is for any reason held to be unconstitu- <br />tional, inoperative, or void, such holdings shall not affect the <br />remaining portions of this ordinance; and it shall be <br />-1- <br />
