There is a very inadequate ramp there now, and the <br />recommendation is that the County go in, utilizing County <br />equipment and materials, at an expenditure not to exceed <br />$1,500 and improvise a much safer air boat launching ramp. <br />The funds would come from the Florida Boating Improvement <br />Trust Funds, and the Coordinator has indicated that this is <br />a viable use. This ramp will be used by other type boats as <br />well. The recommended improvements will include improving <br />the shoulder to make a better parking area. <br />
